Ok so i have a coupple questions and i want to make sure im doing the rite thing before i buy this new card "Radeon HD 7950 3gb"

So in my computer now i have a: - "ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series"

I can't seem to find the exact Series for the card tho! Ive used Catalyst control center and other programs to find out but they all say 5700 Series! "even checked the card itself"

When i look up the card for bench marks and stuff there is no cards labled under 5700 Series all they show are 5770,5750 "not sure wich one it is!"

Now onto the: - "Radeon HD 7950"

So ive been looking at this card for a wile and have compared to to all the Radeon HD 5700 card i can find and the 7950 g3b is way better than the 5700's.

My question is, is the 7950 better than the 5700 i have? i dont want to upgrade to this card if its a downgrade or not much of an upgrade.

And for my last question can i cross fire or what ever its called the cards togeather? make them work as 1 for more performance?

Run Hwmonitor and you will see which card you have.

The 7950 will crush the 57xx.

You can only crossfire cards from the same series. 57xx/57xx,79xx/79xx.
