I just bought an all in one gateway pc , my processor broke down because of a factory malfunction and now it has to be replaced, so I want to take advantage of the situation and insert a bigger one , maybe a dual core , still all in one , can i do that ? how can i do it?

Highly doubtful. Most every OEM machine (HP/Compaq, Gateway, etc) ship with support for only a limited number of processors, usually only the ones which were going to ship into that series. You need to talk to Gateway to see if you have an upgrade option.
