Current: Asrock Z68 Extreme4, Sandy Bridge, 30" DELL, 2560x1600

Maybe I should get a single R290X, rather than CF 280X, since this motherboard is kind of old.

Vapor-Tri-X is my current preference.

Any suggestions are welcome.

When in doubt, always lean towards single gpu configuration (less problems with compatibility).

Always get a single GPU even if it only has 80% of the on paper power of two lesser GPUs in Crossfire. Why? Non linear scaling.
