Hi can any one help  I have a HP G56-105SA model XM663EA

It has a AMD V140 in it and I would like to upgrade to something faster. It needs 25w. According to HP the laptop could come with Athlon II P360 ,Athlon II P340, Athlon II P320 which are also 25w

but listed is Athlon II N370,  Athlon™ II N350 which are 35w.

Does the socket on the HP G56  provide the required 35w power for the faster processor?

Thanks in advance Roy

my guess would be yes, but since HP says no, I wouldn't do it. The laptop may not be able to supply enough power or may not be able to cool it well enough for the 35 watts.
