Hi guys,

I've recently installed a new game called PayDay 2 and it crashes everytime I start it up. So I've been browsing the Steam forums and I've been told that I need to force AMD graphics for it to work. Though, their instructions don't match the software I have (Catalyst Control Centre). Also, apparently, people are saying that using the switchable graphics isn't enough, that I actually need to force the graphics card.

So, I was hoping anyone here could tell me how to force my graphics card?

Here are some specs that might help:

Computer model: Alienware M17xR4 (Laptop)
OS: Windows 8 64-bit
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM CPU
RAM: 16gb
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7970M

Thanks in advance.

AMD graphics is "surface optimisation" (under gaming) as far as I know - looks unexciting but eases GPU load.
