Hi,

I tried playing some games like for example Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Now i've first visited www.canyourunit.com to see if my laptop is able to run the game fluently.

It passed the recommended section, so i thought that it shoud run fluently.

Now that i was playing the game, i had to put it on medium and i still had some lagg.

I was starting to think that only ONE graphics card was working...

The Dual Graphics option was already selected when i first played the game, so i de-selected te option and wanted to know if there was some difference.

Now there wasn't any difference...

These are the specs:

Windows 8.1 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600)

AMD A10-5750M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics   (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz

Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 7376MB RAM

DirectX Version: DirectX 11

AMD Radeon HD 8650G + 8500M Dual Graphics

Chip type: AMD Radeon HD 8650G (0x990B)
           DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz)
        Device Type: Full Device
         Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_990B&SUBSYS_380417AA&REV_00
     Display Memory: 6228 MB
   Dedicated Memory: 2772 MB
      Shared Memory: 3456 MB
       Current Mode: 1366 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz)
       Monitor Name: Generic PnP Monitor

I'm using AMD Catalyst Control Center 13.12

Hopefully this can be fixed...

Most likely the dual cards is actually hurting the performance on that game. Try disabling dual mode and see if it works.

While dual graphics or sli/cross fire is powerful, it only works on a limited number of games that support it.

This is the main reason I never get dual cards.  Too expensive and they may not even work.
