Hello,

Yesterday I tried to download the newest drivers for my AMD Radeon HD 6490M. I fill everything right: Notebook Drivers (Mobility) - Radeon HD 6XXX M series - 64-bit Windows 7 and when I run the install it says that my hardware is not compatible with the software. I'm tired of using the BETA drivers always, so I decided to create this post to solve my problem (If somebody could solve it because I tried everything and nothing works for me)

I'll be very glad if someone helps me, thank you, Eslava.

Read 'updating mobility drivers' That message is displayed if you have a Sony, Toshiba, or Panasonic computer or have switchable graphics.

Hello. I have an HP Pavilion Dv6 Notebook (Dv6-6b17ss) and I entered to the HP website, I downloaded the drivers provided there, but they're old as *****. I tried to download the newest here but it says that I can't. I asked there, in HP forums, they said that my best option is try to solve my problem here, and you're sending me again there. Why the Mobility drivers are not compatible? Or maybe AMD is not the best one here. Maybe this negative experience (which was about 3 years long) will modify my buying preferences and next time maybe I'll buy an NVIDIA GPU instead of an AMD. Your support assistance is very low, but if you buy new products it's fine. What happens if you want to play games but you have an old product? You can't? I know I can, because I played games like BF3, but I downloaded the lastest BETA drivers (14.3 released 15th March) and they don't work well. So now I've to unistall everything and I can't play nothing because I don't find the optimal drivers.
