I bought an HP Pavilion 15-n251ep with the following specs

It possesses two dual GPUs which are as follows:

AMD Radeon HD 7620G/8670M Dual GPU (2 GB DDR3 dedicated)

Unfortunately, I cannot seem to get any apps or games to detect it

Notice how the Radeon 7620G is nearly maxed out whereas the stronger 8600m isn't even being used.

I've tried contacting HP live support, but the user there couldn't fix my issue. He told me that it would seem that the 8600m is somehow connected to the integrated card (the 7620g. So even after he accessed my laptop remotely and tried to turn off the 7620g card to force the computer to use the other one it would not work. it was like the computer did not recognize it. I have catalyst installed and I believe I have the latest drivers instaleld too.

Finally the HP live support tech guy reccomended i ask AMD. Sooo... any ideas? I'm kind of at a loss here :\

I would return the laptop. If their own technician can't get it to work, what can you expect from a user gaming forum? I assume you are using the drivers furnished by HP?

Here is a guide HP produced about dual/switchable graphics. It has some good info.
